Classroom Scenario
You assign an article for your students to read outside of class. However, when the students return, you discover that they either have not read it or are confused by it. In any case, the majority are not prepared for class discussions or activities.
What is the solution?
Do you take class time for explaining the article?
Or, do we find a way to help students engage more with their reading before class?
Introduction to Hypothesis
To solve this challenge, we can use Hypothesis, an annotation tool that encourages active reading and collaboration with peers. Students can highlight, comment, and ask questions about their class material. Rather than passively reading, students collaborate with each other to grasp a deeper understanding of content.
